Maintaining emotions
What emotions do I normally feel throughout the day, week or month?
What emotions am I holding on to that maybe be effecting me?
What triggers a negative emotional response within me? and what emotion is that?
Why does this trigger me? what is the root cause?
What is true about these triggers?
What are ways I can detach from these emotions?
What are things I can do in the moment to calm down negative emotions?
Have I checked my own thoughts to see if they are tied to any negative emotions?
How do I want and choose to feel emotionally most of the time?
These journal prompts are to help you maintain and manage your emotions. When it comes to living the life we dream of and intentional manifesting, it's important to learn how to maintain our emotions.
This doesn’t mean we have to be happy all the time but gaining a better inner standing for the times we are not. I want to also bring awareness to triggers, most people think that when they are being triggered, that person is doing it on purpose but reality is not everyone knows your triggers. Being triggered is a you problem not a they problem. Sometimes people are doing things and saying things they have no idea it's triggering us. Answering these question will help you identify and create a different emotional response to things that trigger you.
Another thing that effects us emotionally is our own thoughts. Our thoughts are on automatic repeat so we must consciously program our subconscious mind by being an observer of our thoughts. Catch those negative thoughts and turn them into positive ones. For an example “I need to get my life together” this sends signals that you don’t have anything going right in your life instead say “I am figuring things out and life is getting better” practice this and watch the different emotional response you have to it. Create Affirmations and repeat them everyday and watch how you learn to create a new emotionally response to things inside and outside yourself.
